WHO WE ARE
Casa d’Abóbora is a youth association based in Aldeia, a low-density area in the Cinfães region of Portugal. We advocate for social, cultural, and economic sustainability with a strong sense of community and ecology.
MISSION
Our main objective is to preserve, promote, and invigorate the cultural heritage of the low-density rural area within the Cinfães municipality. Our mission is reflected in the promotion of socio-cultural and artistic activities that aim to foster connections between visitors and local residents.
VISION
Our vision is to build an intergenerational and sustainable network that values, preserves, and energizes local socio-cultural heritage. We also seek to encourage discussion on issues related to rural life and its depopulation.
VALUES
We advocate for social, cultural, and economic sustainability with a strong sense of community and ecology. Therefore, the essential focuses of this project are social action, mutual respect, personal and collective integrity, compassion, and sharing.

DISCOVER MORE ABOUT THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF CINFÃES
During the Common-Good project, we created an interactive map of Cinfães' cultural heritage. You can click on the icons on the map to discover various people in the municipality who continue to preserve local cultural heritage. You’ll be able to watch interviews with them and find their contact information if you're interested in purchasing any of their products.
